    1. I think the author has a pretty decent start here The story was unique, but it didn t outweigh the nonsensical babble that just went on and on Was there even a point Nothing actually happened The best part of the story was based in the supporting text And then It s 1300 some odd years into the future, yet F16s are used No Just no.

    2. A while ago, this book was free on it still might be, I am unsure I discovered its freeness on Facebook, when the author mentioned it in a group I follow Said author then created a group for all of us to join should we want to A fan type of thing I want to say, I actually have never posted in the group since I had not yet read the books she has created I finally got around to reading this particular story, it is not very long, but feels like it took me forever to read I feel like this story held [...]

    3. The premise behind this story is something that sounds so unique and has a lot of potential Nuclear warfare destroying Earth, people living beneath the permafrost, a fountain of youth All of those things should come together and make for one epic story that would be completely unforgettable And for the most part, I think it accomplishes that I couldn t read this book fast enough, and I had so many questions that I wanted answered Some of them were answered, but most were not Which is fine, becau [...]

    4. City of Cruelty and Copper showcases some pretty awesome ideas, and while I did enjoy it I found that it was a bit too much for me to fully appreciate Fable was fifteen when she was made immortal by the Fountain of Youth, discovered by pure accident after a group of survivors find an ancient city under the ice of Antarctica Now she s become the symbol of their city I liked how hardened Fable was to begin with, and after seeing what she goes through on Temperance Day and leading up to it, it s ve [...]

    5. I got City of Cruelty and Copper for free in the kindle store a long time ago and finally decided to try it tonight It was just really not my cup of tea, although I could see it being pretty popular amongst certain readers I found it to be really creative but weird and the writing was good, but it never really reeled me in I think mostly because I found it to be so strange I love YA dystopian novels, but this felt sci fi than anything, and we know that s one thing I m just not that into With th [...]

    6. I love this book It was rather quite cruel in what the people do every year to try kill an Immortal girl But when you re thirteen hundred years old, you re not really a girl are you No, you re not The basis of the story works well in this dystopian post apocalyptic future world Hugely entertaining Could not, would not put this book down until I was finished I d really love to get my hands on the next installment It ended so quick Hence, my four stars Honestly, I m very glad I gave this author an [...]

    8. This is an awesome start to a series I can t wait to read about Fable and her ancestors The whole idea behind this story is amazing It s a different way of thinking about a post apocalyptic type world I was extremely sad for the things Fable had to go through Then towards the end that turned to anger I m so ready for the next installment of the Temperance series I just have to know what happens next It s worth reading

    9. I m not sure what I think of this book yet It is well written, however it s kind of like I was plopped in the middle of the story without a beginning or an end Maybe the next book will give me a clearer picture

    10. Very good A little but of a steampunk twist to it with a hint of supernatural thrown in A good idea with the Fountain of Youth and quite unique.
