    1. Reasons for three stars instead of because it really was well written and well thought out for the most part 1 The ending Explanations for the prison, etc, were obtuse and incomplete At the very end I mean the view spoiler time loop stuff hide spoiler was a great plot element that made the world work Whole plot elements that were important Elspeth s husband comes to mind were just thrown aside with a couple sentences growls 2 The setup to the ending All of a sudden we find out backstory on our [...]

    3. as amusing as intriguing i really hope there is a sequel being written coz i am still curious about this all the plot is definitely very fresh thought and the pace is perfect for a single sitting read enjoyed this.

    4. As with most of Mark s work, this take the story in unexpected and interesting ways I wasn t sure where this was going much of the time, but I d like to see .

    5. Strange but gooda very strange premise leaves you asking What happens next Is there another book, I need to find out because this was no ending.

    6. This was a pretty good short story that quickly gets your attention, and gets you thinking of various possibilities throughout the story I think the author does a good job of describing scenes and events that make you feel as if you are right there in the middle of the action vs a third party observer There are a few annoying misspelled words in the Kindle version, but they don t detract too much from the reading experience The ending well, it does leave you hanging in the expectation there will [...]

    7. I got this book for free off of and thought it sounded really interesting The overall plot and world was very interesting, a prison that no one knows where it is or how they got there I didn t really feel that the main character, Elspeth was that filled out of a character, she was kind of boring and as you find out later in the story, kind of a piece of crap But she wasn t a bad enough character to ruin the rest of the book, just slightly annoying Towards the end of the book is when things start [...]

    8. While the premise is interesting, this unfortunately reads like an outline or a first draft than a complete novel Jeffrey has a lot to say, and a lot of plot to cover, so he throws ideas and scenes at you in rapid succession with no consideration for pacing The result is a confusing and disjointed narrative that jumps from plot point to plot point without giving the reader time to digest or sometimes even realize what is going on before moving on I m sure there s an interesting story in there s [...]

    9. So, where s the ending This sort of dead ended Story was ok, but not particularly satisfying Characters were pretty shallow, hard to like Too much mumbo jumbo with the Mayan and Egyptian connections Still entertaining, though.

    10. Good short storyInteresting theory, good story I would be interested in finding out about the characters and what happens to them

    11. Didn t go in the preachy satirical direction I expected But I m still not delighted with the facile resolution of all the weirdness And the typos annoyed me.
