    1. 2.5 stars, rounded upC Immunologist Grace Delaney heads to Des Moines, Iowa to lead a team in administering vaccines against a deadly virus, the Baltic flu But pharmaceutical company Thorn Bio Tech Industries has an ulterior motive in developing the vaccine and rushing to have it dispensed An untested vaccine can only mean trouble Delaney and the people at Riverside Hospital, will soon be fighting for their survival. The prologue of this book was very engrossing and I thought I was in for a treat [...]

    2. Good concept, so so executionThe story started out very well I was thoroughly entertained, right up until the actual outbreak Up until that point, I liked that the main female character was flawed, in that she spoke up to her CDC, and then backed down even though in the back of her mind, she knew she was right I felt this was a realistic reaction But then several issues cropped up.First, the author threw in some anti CDC, evil drug company political rhetoric While I do agree with this stance to [...]

    3. An interesting book because it is set around the lead up to an outbreak, rather than after the fact Full of corruption from all sides as well as the plight of people at the centre of the disaster Nicely written, not particularly fast paced but flows well, with characters that became easier to connect with as the story progressed This was an ARC, my opinions are my own.

    4. Wow this book could be a current event The manipulative nature of medicine and big pharma are clearly shown in this story Loved the characters, strong and level headed in the face of disaster The story is a little too real to dismiss A book everyone should read to see how manipulated we are by the controllers of big money Highly recommend as a book that is in everyone s interest to read.

    5. This book kept me interested right to the last page It is just scary to think that something like this could really be happening Now, I have found a new author that I have to get caught up with all his books.

    6. Interesting Interesting Full of action Not my genre but still enjoyed the book Might even read the next one Well see.

    7. While the concept was very good, the book moved slowly and for the most part the characters lacked much development especially the principal female There were some unexpected twists and turns but the book ended abruptly and on a cliff hanger I don t like serials and that is what this is and in my estimation, not well done.

    8. The book started out with a good concept and I thought it would be better than it turned out to be The cover art was better than the book I was hoping we would get info from the infected patients point of view The story had a little too much lusting between the characters which seemed as if it was thrown in to build up the word count.

    9. Apage turnerGood story line very fast paced, very good writing good action all around I would recommend this book to evrryone
